Rapid Urgent Care - Amite

The entire staff at Rapid Urgent Care in Amite were fantastic. The facility was clean and orderly which is a must for me! I was a new patient and was seen quickly and efficiently. I felt like the physician paid attention to what my symptoms were and treated me accordingly. I would highly recommend this clinic.

After 2 weeks of feeling blah I went to get rid of cough and aches. Went right in and everyone was awesome. Very informative and was out in a flash. Exceeded expectations by a mile. Wish it was always this easy with healthcare. Friendly staff, caring, informative, and speedy, what a perfect place to geaux when your under the weather.

From the time we walked in to the time we left, everyone was pretty great. My son tested positive for strep throat which I suspected and which is going around. Dr. Randy was talkative and informative and has a nice bed side manner. Very nice and timely experience.

I was feeling sick for a couple of days. I went to the Urgent Care as a walk in. I was checked in and brought to a room right away. Everyone was very nice. They checked my symptoms, sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy and I was on my way. I would definitely recommend this clinic to everyone.

Overall, my visit was mixed. I came in with severe joint swelling, pain, and chest discomfort. One staff member was extremely kind and understanding — she even shared that she also has Hashimoto’s disease and recognized that I was likely having a flare-up. Her compassion meant so much during a very scary moment. Unfortunately, two other staff members were not as kind. They seemed rushed and impatient, and when I asked about my copay — which was significantly higher than what I normally pay — I was met with a rude tone instead of an explanation. I had already paid and was simply trying to understand the difference. For additional context, none of the staff were wearing name tags, so I had no way to identify who was helping me or who I could reference in my feedback. I understand urgent c
