Ranchwood Nursing Center

When my dear friend was admitted the floor in her room was sticky at the head & foot of the bed. I would expect a clean floor for a new admit A woman came in & introduced herself as my loved ones nurse. She was dressed in causal clothes & had no visible ID. I called for updates numerous times but no one answered the phone or returned my call. There was a distinct Oder the building . I’m expecting a refund. Had to pay for a month in advance but she only lived 4 days. It will take a while I’m sure

This place should be shut down!!! They pretty much just watched my dad decline and decline. We had to point out things that weren’t normal, tell them to do certain tests. Finally after 26 days we decided enough is enough and had him taken to the hospital. When at the hospital he was given 3 bags of fluids for hydration to get his blood pressure back up because he was severely dehydrated. He tested positive for Covid, had a severe UTI infection and internal bleeding in his stomach. He had a cough for a little over a week, Ranchwood treated that with Mucinex. He had black tarry stools for at least a week we had to request a stool sample to test for blood in his stool which they should have already done, why did we have to point that out?? The care was poor for my friend. My friend was moved out of this nursing home on a Friday evening to another nursing home. The nursing home did not send records with her and she had a severe case of pneumonia. If you care for someone don’t send them to Ranchwood Nursing Home

The nurse aids are alright, just absolutely no one answers the phone. The majorly of med aids are not approachable, and same with nurse staff. They seem not to be happy to show help , I’m movie my mom soon.

This place is not appropriate if your loved one has dementia. Do NOT bring your loved one here with dementia. My mom would escape out the door and be north on Yukon parkway before they could get her back.
