Raleigh Rehabilitation Center

I have been at Raleigh Rehab Center for 2 months. I received excellent care and couldn’t be happier. The entire staff has been so kind and respectful. They have gone out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and that my needs were being met. They have an excellent team of physical and occupational therapists. The nurses not only dispense medications, they have taken time to chat with me and really listen to my concerns. The CNAs and their assistants have also been so kind and up lifting. Always with a smiling face and positive attitude. The social committee plans an outing every month. Last month we had lunch at Red Lobster, what a treat! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONE TO THIS FACILITY!! for starters the CNA’s aren’t taking proper care of there residents, when i stop by to visit my uncle It’s nurses at the desk on their cellphones . Residents sitting in the hallway all day… the nurses aren’t engaged into their patients.My uncle had old food trays in his room which is very unsanitary !! I don’t understand how this facility is still operating. Housekeeping does an awful job with cleaning! the hallways stink and the guest restrooms downstairs are filthy . Kitchen staff has poor work ethics ! I came to visit my uncle around 11am his lunch looked so disgusting ! food wasn’t cooked all the way . PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR RELATIVE HERE.

This place is absolutely WORTHLESS!!!! No oversight whatsoever!! Only giving ONE STAR because of the VERY FEW good people that are there. I don't see how the State allows it to operate this way. For starters, they DO NOT keep the rooms clean. They allowed my Auntie's room to stay filthy throughout her stay. Empty food or medicine packages, wasted liquids, crumbs, you name it, all over the floor and tables for days. I requested house keeping to clean but to no avail. and sometimes clean up myself!!! There is no way they are paying people to do this! If so, they are paying for NOTHING!! In addition to poor housekeeping, the Chef (if you want to call him/her that) appears to throw some types of food together as they go and call it a dish. The FOOD is absolutely disgusting. So much so,

I was making a delivery to a customer and was very impressed with the way I was greeted by the receptionist Denise. The lobby was nice and inviting; I asked if there had been changes in management and she said there is a rather new Administrator named Jayme. While waiting, I noticed the residents and staff seemed content. A great combination in this industry. Kudos to Raleigh Rehabilitation Center and it’s staff on maintaining an positive environment for our elderly and those short term patients on the mend!

Everyone at Raleigh Rehab was so nice and welcoming. They all worked really hard at making sure that everyone staying or visiting was welcomed and included. The entire staff was joyful and comforting. From the first face you see at the sign in desk, check in, activity director, nurses, patients, laundry, kitchen, pt , speech, a very pleasant atmosphere and smiles all around. We felt heard and my mom's needs were met. A few went above and beyond what was required and my family and I will be forever grateful. Keep up the great work
