What a great place to go for eye care. My daughter and I have always felt so comfortable and like we are the most important patients when we go. John at the front desk has never been anything but amazing to us. He is so personable and always cheerful. Dr Hudgins is a kind man and very honest and professional.

Dr. Hudgins went above and beyond assisting me with a recent unexpected eye injury. His patient attentiveness and calm, caring personality were greatly appreciated.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hudgins' for over 10 years now. I recommend him to everyone needing a reliable, talented eye doctor. I just got new glasses with the tinted transitions lenses with the new colored mirror coatings (along with all the other bells and whistles coatings) and they are seriously epic. I have VSP vision insurance and that actually covered most of it. Either way they are worth the extra coin. Anyway apparently this stuff is so new and because of the pandemic, I'm the first patient to actually get these types of glasses lenses from their office, so they asked me to write an honest review about them. I've been a patient of Dr. Hudgins and Raleigh Optometry for several years. Dr. Hudgins is very knowledgeable, listens carefully and always gives his full attention. After being made to feel like a number by MyEyeDr I've been delighted with caring service given by Dr. Hudgins and his staff. I would never go anywhere else.

Dr. Hudgins and the front desk staff were both great. The office is a little tricky to find in the building if you park at the front, but the office itself is very clean and welcoming. The front desk was friendly and efficient, and the doctor was very much the same. He also takes care to explain all the diagnostics, what he is doing, and what the results mean. This was my first visit after experiencing some natural degradation in my eyesight. The changes in my vision were very minor so Dr. Hudgins said “I know part of my job is to sell you something, but you really don’t need glasses yet unless the changes in your vision are affecting your quality of life.” It was very refreshing to have a doctor who was so honest and communicative with their patients.
