Raleigh Access Center

From first checking in to this Center with the Receptionist, to Nurses, Techs, Anestheologist, and Doctor, and on to the Surgery OR team…these folks are amazing!! I was given clear instructions, & even comforted with heated blankets 2 different times. This Dream Team of Dr. Swain’s needs to be commended and given a big raise 💵💰🥳 Thanks for making a possibility scary event a surprisingly nice experience. Stay safe. 🙏

The time management sucks terribly! Every visit (all 4-5) have taken no less than 4 hours, regardless of the appointment time or the procedure. We’ve had an appointment at 9:45 and did not get seen until after 12:30. We’ve had an appointment for JUST an observation (not even a procedure) and it took 4 hours. You cannot plan anything for your day when coming to this office. I expect delays as with a typical doctor/medical office, but a 3-4 hour delay is absolutely ridiculous and careless. Their Time management is not acceptable at all!!!!!

**Edit to respond to the "medical facility" owner: Since my previous concerns were evidently too complex for your team to address at the time, I see no reason to revisit them now that the damage is done. Also, I’m sure you all are very busy with other patients you aren't listening to (my loved one can't be the only one, as they witnessed many other "things"), so let's not waste any more of my time. My advice to you as owner would be to send a patient undercover there in order to fully grasp the goings on. Or install and watch your security cameras WITH PURPOSE. PS. IF you're also medical personnel at your place, it's fascinating that you've ,suddenly found the capacity for dialogue now that my loved one is no longer in your care—I'll be sticking with a clinic that prioritizes the patient o

We had an exceptional experience during our visit today. My mom had an appointment for a mapping and graft creation with Dr. Knowles. We were treated with the highest quality of care by Martina, Tessa and Dr. Knowles. The culture of this office has changed significantly for the better! As a support person and #1 advocate for my mom. Patient care and bedside manners are crucial for me. In a world where we are not all familiar with medical talk or lingo it’s good to know Raleigh Access staff cares and takes time to explain. Today I overheard doctors, nurses and techs of other patients taking the time to articulate procedures and next steps to some of the most vulnerable patients… non English speaking and seniors that show up to these appointments alone! I had a great experience today. Everyone was super nice and helpful. They all seemed to treat me like I was the most important patient to them. They deserve a 10 out of 10.
