Rajiv Parikh MD PC

I had a very bad experience with the hospital management, especially the receptionist. The staff has poor management and shows no professionalism. They do not attend phone calls at all. Making an appointment is extremely difficult. Even when they answer, they are rude and dismissive. I have never seen such unhelpful behavior from front desk staff. There is no proper communication or follow up. This creates unnecessary stress for patients. Dr. Rajiv Parikh, MD, is a good doctor and knowledgeable. However, the quality of the staff seriously impacts the overall experience. The clinic needs immediate improvement in reception and call handling.

I have not seen Dr Parikh in 8 years and when I went in for an appointment. I was told I owe a bill from 8 years ago for 45.00 and some change. When I asked for what. Front desk girl changed it it 24.00 dollars and some changes. I paid that 24.00 and change and she still could not tell me for what it was for. I then received a phone call NOT FROM BILLING, but from front desk saying I still owe 17.00 dollars and some change from 8 years ago. They claim they sent 7 bills to me via email. Well not sure how, as I never gave them an email. Then the front desk girl changed it to mailing. This is VERY POOR BILLING DEPARTMENT. 1) WHY IS THE BILLING DEPARTMENT NOT CALLING. 2) THEY DATA ENTERED THE AMOUNT INCORRECTLY. WHY IS THIS THE PATIENT FAULT.

I had contacted the office of Dr. Parikh for a bill dating back on year Jul 3, 2022 which was supposed to have been CREDITED by "SUNITA" on my Jul 18, 2022 phone call as it was any annual physical visit that is 100% covered by my health insurance. Their website is able to send these erroneous message but does not allow communication from the affected patient. I left a voicemail to their office, both to Dr. Parikh and MA Rodriguez who promised to look into this matter to no avail as I am still receiving email of these ERRONEOUS bill that I now consider HARASSMENT. I am sure Dr. Parikh will not tolerate this kind of service coming provided by his office staff. Please CORRECT your record and REFRAIN from emailing me for such erroneous bill.

Update, office has reached out, they were not aware of many of the issues, and in good faith, are working to make the patient experience better. It’s hard to lose trust in a good doctor, then gain it back, but I think they are worth a second chance. The experience the doctors bring to the clinic is worth a hiccup based on staffing issues. Used to be a good office, not sure what happened.

Used to be a great place now you can’t even see a doctor more the half the time and if you do be sure to plan it out as you’ll wait in a hot room for over a hour just to see them the last 3 times I’ve gone in I had to leave without seeing anyone it was so hot and so long all they ever say is sorry but they do it again every time now
