They charged me 30 dollars for a 5 dollar medication. I even asked why it was so high and that I had medicaid and instead of checking the system for my insurance which they had logged in - my own insurance company confirmed this - she talked to Silvia about her daughter being at the airport and was checking her cell phone while ringing me up. When I called the insurance company to see what the actual cost was and they put us on a a three way call with Flora, Flora got upset and said she was "surprised" I called my insurance company because she was already handling it. Well you didn't handle it Flora. And when I yelled at her for it, which I think is completely justified, her and Silvia hung up on me multiple times and refused to give me my medication. Under current management you are not likely to get assistance and just pay high prices. I know we're in pharmacy dessert but there are other places you spend your money.

Our local pharmacy is the best. This is not a 1-stop-shop where you can get everything on a shelf and shop for your whole family. This is only a pharmacy so go elsewhere if you need specific sundries or hair products, special soap etc. However, if you live in the neighborhood and are in need of a local, caring, small shop for accurate and speedy prescriptions, they will handle it with expertise.

So...I needed to send some important paperwork and the staff here went above and beyond to assist me! Turns out that the company I was sending documents to was experiencing delays and technical difficulties. That didn't deter the staff at QwikMeds Pharmacy! They FOUND a way to accommodate me and kept trying different options until a solution was found. Special shoutout to Tiffany, Brenda and Kencous!! They were friendly, patient, kind AND served everyone with a smile. The service I received was exceptional. Thank you for the way you support our community! I will definitely be back!
