Queensboro Occupational Therapy

I broke my wrist in August and started therapy in September with Carlos. It’s amazing how fast the range and strength have returned in my wrist. It’s not 100% yet but the gains so far in this short amount of time are amazing. I can now hold things in my hand, open bottles and using my fork as an assist when cutting food. These are things I couldn’t before. As one Occupatioal therapist to another I highly recommend Queensboro Occupational Therapy

I was referred here from my friend after developing carpal tunnel & shoulder pain. Carlos and Hamlet are great occupational therapists, who helped me recover in only a few weeks and allowed me to go back to my daily activities without major pain. Catherine is great with scheduling, and keeping on top with insurances. I normally don't like doctor's offices but this has a professional and fun vibe. I'm so glad I found this place.Carlos Martins is like a world renowned conductor leading a symphony of healers.It is not unusual to encounter several different therapist during a single visit.Each administering thier own brand of healing from deep tissue massage to electrolysis. The entire staff is wonderful from the moment you walk in the door.

I have been fortunate to be a patient of this facility on and off for two years. I first came to them post wrist surgery. The surgery entailed the placement of seventeen titanium pins as well as separate carpal tunnel surgery in my right formerly dominant hand. I was unable to write my name, drive, dress myself etc. Through professionalism, patience , hard work and kindness Carlos Martins, Hamlet Aristy and their team helped me to regain usage of my hand and arm. Subsequently, I recently developed a left frozen shoulder . In addition to the pain, my range of motion was severely hampered. With the help of Carlos and Hamlet’s therapy the pain has reduced and the range of motion had increased. The facility is pleasant, clean, professional and there is no wait time.
