Unethical Billing Practices On August 15, 2023 I attended an exam to acquire glasses. I checked with my insurance company if the eye doctor was in-network and if my exam would be covered. I presented my insurance card with the receptionist who proceeded to make a copy and return the card to me. The receptionist did not express to me any conflicts with my insurance, so I figured this would be a fairly uneventful visit. I complete my exam and the receptionist hands me a bill of $89.00 and asks me to pay it in full, before billing insurance, because she did not feel confident insurance would pay any of the bill. So, I thought to myself, "why in the world would you not tell me that beforehand?" I told her I expected to pay a co-pay but not $89.00 and she proceeded to tell me that one of

I took a cancellation appt & felt run thru like cattle at an auction & reffered to an eye surgeon before i could process what was diagnosed. Very antiseptic experience. I will seek an alternative to this practice. The surgeons office was just as "bothered" by my cacellation as well. A chairside manner apparently absent here based on

Dr. Robinson is so easy to talk to and work with. My whole family now sees him for all of our eye care needs.

Wonderful office. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, including the front office team, technician and doctor. They took great care of my 6 year old during her first eye exam. She was apprehensive going into the appointment and left there with a big smile! Thank you!
