Every person we've worked with in Speech, OT and PT, has provided thorough information and direction regarding the exercises, as well as the expectations and outcomes of doing the work. DO NOT bring your loved one here. If I could give this facility zero stars, I would. Puyallup Post Acute is unsafe, neglectful, and absolutely not a place you should trust with your loved one. Before my grandmother broke her femur, she was fully self-independent. After surgery at the hospital, she was doing very well—staff had her up, sitting in a chair multiple times a day, encouraging movement and recovery. She was stable, mentally sharp, and progressing as expected. This completely changed once she was transferred to Puyallup Post Acute. My grandmother was sent here for short-term rehabilitation, but instead of continuing that progress, she rapidly declined both physically and mentally, and it was clear this was due to poor care and neglect. BEWARE. This is my second review because after I posted my first one, someone very clearly from this facility rushed to post a glowing review trying to contradict everything I said. I was their first review ever, and magically an hour later they suddenly had a “perfect” one. That alone should be a huge red flag. People should be aware of how quickly negative experiences here are being countered with suspiciously positive reviews.
