Purvis Dermatology of Myrtle Beach

My very first time to a dermatologist, and I must say it was actually enjoyable. I should have come years ago. The office staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Morgan Kelly, FNP-C, performed my body scan very thoroughly, and Dr. Purvis double-checked everything. Morgan removed my problem spots and was so gentle. Kristi, the assistant, assisted in the removals and then explained all the after-care to me thoroughly. The office is beautifully decorated and very clean. I will be recommending Purvis Dermatology to all my friends and family.

Anyone living in the sunny south needs a good dermatologist. We were taught that when we moved here 25 years ago and that was great advice. A few skin cancers later, I'm doing fine and I thank Dr. Purvis for keeping me alive and healthy. I'm fair skinned and bald so I have to bathe in sunscreen whenever I'm gardening, swimming or hanging outdoors with friends and Dr. Purvis reminds me of that every time I see him. IMHO he's the best dermatologist in the area and I've discovered that several of my other doctors agree. They're patients of Dr. Purvis also.

Today my husband had an appointment with Dr. Purvis. When I tell you this was the BEST doctor’s visit we have ever had, this is no exaggeration. From check in to departure the staff was polite, personable and just absolutely loving and friendly. Dr. Purvis staff is amazing. The receptionist wasn’t familiar with our insurance. As in other offices they are rude and only want to deal with companies they have had in the last 39 years, she wasn’t like that at all. She said they would call and get it worked out. Absolutely stellar customer service!!!! Dr. Purvis nurses exhibited care and compassion to their patients. And a sense of humor added to this made the visit even better. Dr. Purvis listened and gave my husband and I great advice. We will absolutely drive 30 minutes to visit this beautifu

Everyone was very polite. Especially the receptionist. Miss Morgan was really nice. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dr Purvis is very thorough and documents every place he freezes. He has great bedside manners & knowledgeable.
