Pure life Clinic has made my life significantly better and have helped in more ways than they know! Dr. Pelley is without question the most caring, empathetic and kind medical professional I have ever been treated by. Without hesitation or monetary motivation, she goes far above and beyond to provide comfort, healing and she genuinely just wants to help people feel their best. I've always thought Chiropractors were under rated and over looked but in my experience, Chiropractic care has done more for me than any other medical profession. All staff are amazing and the last massage I received was amazing as well! I will definitely return for future visits. I wish there was another location in SE Portland, OR. To be clear, this review is about the MANAGEMENT (Looking at you Dr. Melanie!), not the staff. The management has decided to take the clinic in an uncomfortable at best, and harmful/HIPAA violating, at worst direction by REMOVING THE DOORS from the chiropractic rooms. The only explanation that has been given? Efficiency. When I hear efficiency, I understand that profits are being prioritized over people. And if the LACK of privacy and BLATANT DISREGARD for trauma-informed care were not enough, management has decided not to tell patients when their preferred provider is out (that’s not how INFORMED CONSENT works). The owners of this clinic have removed all the doors to all the chiropractic adjustment rooms, completely eliminating any opportunity to protect patient confidentiality. It will not be a safe space for any patient who have to discuss anything related to their clinical background, or any other kind of sensitive nature at this clinic. It’s a shame because there are some truly wonderful professionals who work here, who care for the patient who come here, wonderful staff members who helped facilitate appointments who also care, but you can’t add the owners of this practice to that list. I would recommend finding Another Office for treatment

Peggy gives an incredibly intuitive and effective massage. She creates a calm, welcoming space where you can truly relax, and her work feels thoughtful and responsive rather than routine. She knows exactly when to go deeper and when to keep things gentle. I left feeling relaxed, balanced, and so much better than when I arrived. Highly recommend.
