Pure Joy Pediatrics

Both of our children love visiting Dr. Palmer's office. This place has a fun and inviting layout for kids who otherwise would dread a routine checkup. Kirin Palmer is an exceptional doctor who always makes time to thoroughly examine and explain every detail to us, and the same goes for the entire staff. We've known her since she worked in the pediatric clinic at Providence St. Vincent and were fortunate to follow her to her own practice at Pure Joy.

Dr. Palmer and her staff are excellent! The entire office is designed to be welcoming and in closing of everyone, especially littles! My two year old will often ask me if/when we can go visit Dr. Palmer. Nurse Anne is particularly skilled at making routine immunizations a breeze. My kiddo doesn’t even cry because things go so smoothly. Special shout out to Maia the office therapy dog!!!

We absolutely love this clinic! It’s always warm, welcoming, and well-organized. Dr. Palmer has been caring for my son since the day he was born — for eight years now — and I can’t imagine a better pediatrician. Every recommendation she gives is thoughtful, clear, and evidence-based. We always feel heard, cared for, and in the best hands. The whole team is kind, professional, and truly dedicated to their patients.

Since our first visit, we have been consistently impressed by the high standard of care and the genuine concern shown for our toddler’s well-being. We especially appreciate Dr. Palmer’s bilingual communication. Her ability to explain medical information in both English and Spanish ensures that we fully understand our child’s treatment and can make informed decisions with confidence. When it comes to questions regarding vaccinations, Dr. Palmer provides clear, evidence-based explanations and takes the time to discuss what is essential for our child’s health. What a wonderful experience! The receptionist was very welcoming and offered us water. She set the tone of a warm and welcoming first impression. We received a tour of the office from the staff as we were new patients, and we knew we were in good hands. Dr. Palmer was incredible! She made our children feel valued with her caring demeanor and she was very detailed. We immediately sensed that she is an expert in her field and is invested in the well-being of our children. The highlight and icing on the cake was the presence of Maya, therapy dog in training! Our children had a lot of fun - and when can you say that usually when visiting a doctors office?
