Publix Pharmacy at University Town Center

(It's more like 4.5, but I'd rather round up than down, for sure.) On one hand: Definitely kinder and more competent than most pharmacies I've had. I've been type one diabetic most of my life, so that's saying something. I need several medications for several conditions ranging from genuinely life-threatening to just kind of annoying, so I feel kind of bad about how often I have to check on those, but it's not like I have a choice. They're generally very patient about this, though. Ok, here's the other hand (still *mostly* positives): They've only ever seemed to have an issue with my --- admittedly pretty ridiculous --- med regimen once. Just some mild passive-aggressive side comment. The person in question lowkey went above and beyond to help otherwise, and I was kind of freaking out at

If you need you're prescriptions quickly, or within a reasonable amount of time, Do NOT use this pharmacy! My doctor called in my prescriptions on Wednesday afternoon, and they weren't ready until Friday afternoon! This happens 90% of the time. Plus, they never get the pill count correct. Several times I've noticed that I was short a couple of pills. Stay away from this pharmacy!

Painfully slow and dull employees who are rude and incompetent. They are dismissive and have no idea what they’re doing. Go to a real pharmacy and skip this knock off clown show.

Their service has improved but it still takes well over two days typically to fill prescriptions. The promptness can be real hit or miss. Their friendly but have trouble meeting their quoted filling times. I don’t mind waiting just don’t tell me it will be ready sooner than you can fill it!

Horrible service. The first couple of times I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking possibly there was new employees/management, or maybe they'd unexpectedly lost an employee...but unfortunately it became apparent this is just how this location is run. Good luck if you have a question or need assistance via the phone. You might as well drive all the way to⁴¾ pharmacy to actually have access to speak to someone there. If you don't, prepare most times to spend 30+ minutes & SEVERAL phone calls just to even get someone to pick up the phone. Even the worst business with horrendous customer service that I've experienced will at least answer the call, even if they have to immediately put me on hold.
