Publix Pharmacy at University Square

They will tell you your prescription will be ready in 3-4 hours. Then you get there 45 minutes after it should have been ready...oh we haven't started filling it yet...That's not my problem. You told me it would have been ready by 6. I show up at 6:45 and you haven't even started on it yet.

I've been with this pharmacy for years but they have been going downhill for a while now. I had enough and transferred to another Publix pharmacy that is better. Your meds are never ready on time. It used to be just every now and then but it's pretty much all the time now. How does a pharmacy operate like this? Especially when you just get out of the hospital for major heart problems and the hospital sends the scripts over in the morning but they still don't have them ready 10 minutes before they close. Then when you call to find out what's going on they just tell you they can have them ready in the morning. That's unacceptable. These are life or death drugs. Do better University Publix pharmacy before you kill somebody with your negligence. Hopefully you haven't already.

Often the prescription is not ready when I arrive. Today, the prescription was called in 10:00 am. When I arrived at 3:15 I was told it would be at least another 45 minutes until the prescription would be ready It is now 3:45, 30 minutes in and I thought I would make good use of my time, since it is not quite as important to Publix Pharmacy as it is to me, and write a lengthy review. For what it worth, I very rarely write a negative review, usually folks have to work for it. Lets see if they make it by the 45 minute mark. Nope, they missed it, the final time was 55 minutes.

Have always been pleased with staff and the way our prescriptions have been filled .

They no longer fill prescriptions in a timely manner. They don't seem to fill them unless you call. 8 hours after the doctor sending the the script, simple medication, is not ready. What happened to this location.
