Publix Pharmacy at Town Commons

I have been with Publix Pharmacy for years now. I have been happy with them, no problems. UNTIL THIS WEEK. I had a medication called in by my doctor a week ago and I went to pick up some other medications that were ready on Monday and I asked about the medication that was called in. I was told that the specific medication I Was asking about was early to fill and told that my doctor had not called it in but they were contacting her. It was a little early to fill anyway so I was okay with that. Then the next day I called my doctor just to make sure it was called in to Publix Pharmacy and I was then told that Publix Pharmacy said that I had already picked it up. NOT TRUE AT ALL. This is medication that you CANNOT just stop. I am SO ANGRY with the pharmacy. They will not even pick up the phon

The pharmacist at this location is not very accommodating! He says things like I have better things to do with my time. When you go to pick up he is always busy talking about personal matters with employees. My doctor sent prescriptions over many times and the guy insists he didn't get them. So I keep having to go back to the doctors office, I am going to change pharmacy, I go out of my way to go to this one and as a customer I expect service , follow through, knowledge and a pleasant disposition not a lazy daisy attitude!

The pharmacist here (Bill) is awful and his staff is right there with him. They are nasty, condescending, and honestly just miserable sounding. Listen to these other reviewers and steer clear. Save yourself the aggravation!

Dr. Called in a prescription for me. I called the pharmacy at least 6 times to see if it was ready. No one answered! I went there and was told they won’t have it until after 2pm the next day! The pharmacist should have called me! I need this medication asap! They didn’t even offer to call another pharmacy a mile away! Now they are out to lunch and I will have to wait and call around myself! Terrible customer service!

Several years ago I cancelled my prescriptions at Target when it became CVS, because Eckerd was my favorite for many decades. I switched to Publix since then, but the srrvice this morning was rude! The lady on the phone was just interested in finishing her call with me and zero desire to help me. There was a glitch in their text reminder of prescriptions and she ended up hanging up on me. So I had to go there in person. She continued to argue in person as well and actually walked away. So I'm walking away to another drug store and transferring my subscriptions. So sad after many years shopping here. UPDATE. I returned to Publix Pharmacy because it was providing some free medications. Its been a while, but again I'm disappointed. They have now stoped the free feature for some medicines. So
