Publix Pharmacy at Sugar Hill Corners

I’ve always heard Publix is known for a friendly, welcoming shopping experience where customers leave feeling valued. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience at this location. On multiple visits, I’ve felt tension and subtle bias from several employees the kind where you’re clearly being watched or treated differently for no reason other than just shopping while Black. It creates an uncomfortable environment that completely contradicts the reputation Publix advertises. Everyone deserves to shop without feeling judged or singled out. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures the store lives up to the standard of respect and hospitality Publix is known for.

Shristi, the short cashier behind the counter, will never address you with a smile, nor will she make eye contact with you. And if you're lucky, she will literally throw your bag of prescriptions across the counter at you, without care or concern, or even a "thank you." EVERY SINGLE TIME. Thank you, Shristi - I always walk out feeling better about my day than yours.

They always have a excuse saying the prescriptions are never ready its either 30 min wait or come next day and when you do you still wait 30 min I have never went and just picked my prescriptions up.

Normally I have a very good experience, but today was not that case. The lady that gave me my medicine was very rude and snappy both times I went to check in on the progress. I went in earlier today and she told me they were not ready even though my app said they were. I came back later and she was rude and unwelcoming. Very frustrating considering the meds I was picking up came with a lot of emotional & upsetting news. I am aware she would not know that, but that is why we are all taught to be kind to others because you do not know what they are going through. I hope no one else has this experience.

I went to pick up my medication after going to urgent care. I was only going to see how long it would take, and if not return the next day. Unknowingly, at the register saw that they closed in 20 minutes. However, the pharmacy manager was quick with her rude remarks to not only I , but also to the previous customer in front of me. Barbara I believe her name was chuckled and says “ yeah she just left the urgent care as well. Do not leave the vicinity, I’m not staying for late you.” In a nasty tone. (I even waited in the car for a while before going in to not be “that person”). And continues saying things under her breathe. Instead, of saying they were closing soon and if I could please return tomorrow. Pretty awful to do to someone who isn’t feeling well and to treat them that way. I comple
