Publix Pharmacy at Riverdale Shopping Center

It is my opinion but I would think long and hard before you use a Publix pharmacy, they seem to not to know what they are doing and lack professional standards, especially this one . I picked up a script yesterday and when I got home & looked in the package I realized it was the incorrect dosage. My doctor had originally sent in a lower dosage until I explained to her I would like to go with an increase amount because it was costing me $600 out of pocket to my insurance company Humana. She called in the increased dosage but the pharmacy said they had that one first and i could not return it. The person I spoke could care less that it was my $600. I explained I was going to reach out the her management and to Humana, but i will not be using this Publix in any fashion again and will be movin

Best pharmacy experience I’ve ever had! Everyone is so helpful, especially Verna. She is so sweet and takes her time to make sure everything is correct and the best price possible.

I've been to this pharmacy several times now. It has become my primary pharmacy due to my recent move, but I will be more than happy to move my business to CVS across the street. I had a long day at work, been sick for almost two weeks now and actually needed some antibiotics. I run in quick to pick them up, I'm not greeted with any sort of smile or nice greeting besides "we'll be right there" with disgusted and annoyed faces from both the pharmacist and another tech. Then I get an extremely grouchy tech named Hollie at the register. She only asked me for my DOB, didn't double check that I had the correct medication or if I had any questions, nothing. Just said "sign bottom left", rang up the med, handed me both the med bag and receipt and said "have a great day" with the most annoyed and

I've lived in Fort Myers 60 years of my 70 years and rely on Publix for everything. The pharmacy always emails me whenever I have a prescription. I get my COVID flu and other vaccines annually. There. The staff always courteous, kind professional, eager to help from the moment you walk and sign in, can't say enough about the care that you get from them and the quickness, an empathy that they give you while you're there. Thanks so much to everybody in the pharmacy. If you want the best, forget the rest. Take my advice. You'll never do better than any Publix. Pharmacy, family owned business. I use publix for all my needs including prescriptions. Usually do not have any complaints. Went there today and a nice young lady informed me that it would take 20 min. So I did some shopping, came back and got a lady by the name Hallie. Her demeanor was rude and unacceptable. Now we all have bad days but her tone is not good for Publix standards. She needs an attitude adjustment dealing with customers. Had I not been in so much pain I would have told her off I am in my 60s and will not tolerate this kind of behavior.
