Publix Pharmacy at Plantation Grove Shopping Center

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the pharmacy technician at Publix. Not only was he completely unhelpful, but he also gave me the address of another pharmacy (Walgreens 8201 International Dr) that was 25 minutes away from where I was, even though I was feeling sick and my daughter was in severe pain. He showed zero empathy or willingness to assist. The clinic had informed me that the prescription would arrive in just a few minutes, but instead of waiting or offering any support, he told me to send the prescription to a location that doesn’t even have a pharmacy. It felt like he just wanted to get rid of us. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare environment. People come to pharmacies looking for care and relief not indifference. Just called for my prescription that’s on back order. They tried telling me they “aren’t accepting new patients right now” I’ve been using this pharmacy for over 20 years, and filled this specific script every month for 6 years. The unprofessionalism is adamant

They are awful. My dr has called in my prescription 3x in a week and they keep claiming they dont have it. It has now been a week i have been without my meds . Dr called it in AGAIN this am and publix still claims it hasn't been called in. Its hard to get them on the phone (they like to pick up the phone and immediately hang up) and when you go in, they make you wait forever. Also they are so unprofessional that they were closed this morning for over an hour bc the pharmacist didn't show up to work. AVOID

I can't give them enough praise. Saved my family twice. First time, when my dad was driving down from NY to visit with me. His car got rear ended by a semi, totalling his car and spewed his meds all over the highway in Georgia. They made all the phone calls necessary to get all of his many meds taken care of. AMAZING! Last week, my hubby was going to run out of a new med while we were on vacation and we wanted to switch it to generic. I called the prescribing Dr. Still got a bad script with more complications . Refills are a consistent problem here. The doctor sends them in and they constantly claim they don't get them. Happens with multiple doctors and multiple times.
