Publix Pharmacy at Piedmont Commons Shopping Center

I had some weird issues with my prescriptions, and while I appreciate the staff’s efforts to help me, there needs to be better communication regarding the wait times. I was told multiple times they were “working on it” and it would be “a couple of minutes,” which resulted in a 1.5 hour wait… I was visibly sick; some urgency would’ve been nice, but I know you have other orders to fulfill, so please just be honest about the wait times. I would’ve gone home had I been told I would likely be waiting for almost 2 hours… Oh, and when it was time to get me checked out, I had to get back in line after four other people even though I had been there for almost 2 hours. Next time, some more transparency would be appreciated… On a side note, Lynda was really nice and kind, thank you for the friendly

Used this one since I moved to Marietta, and it was always,pretty good. Over the last few months though, the communication is really bad. In the app all you can see is a "last filled date," so if there's anything going on with the prescription itself, there is nothing neither automated that texts your nor do they reach out to let you know it will be delayed. The only indicator is you just never get a notification its been filled, so then you have to call and be on hold. Usually its something like they have to order it so it will be a few days. The same automated texts that tell you its ready should notify of a delay, or they should reach out when it will be past the day originally quoted. Lots of people can only pick up certain times or travel alot so it screws me up.

The new and current pharmacist was rude and condescending to my wife as she attempted to fill our daughter’s seizure medication. His behavior may as well have been a shrug of the shoulders and a wave goodbye for all the empathy he showed. It was not until I spoke with him directly and threatened him with legal repercussions, if he did not do his job and assist us in filling the medication, if our daughter had another breakthrough seizure that he became passably “helpful.” We ALWAYS receive help at this pharmacy. The staff has always been kind, empathetic , and understanding. This new pharmacist took them from 100 to a 1 in all of those qualities. I am so terribly disappointed.

Excellent staff, has helped me out in emergency situations when I need medication for my kid. Linda is always very helpful.

Leah is an amazing Tech that works here. She was very kind and patient as she worked to process the transaction. She put forth extra effort to assist and that was outstanding!
