Publix Pharmacy at Ocean Breeze Plaza

I was a patient with covid and my regular pharmacy didn't have it. I called Publix. She first gave us the runaround the one today. Today is the 8th of March around 12:00 noon. The pharmacist didn't ask is what kind of insurance we had and then women went to all the trouble to have it transferred. She called me up and told me it didn't cover it. I said oh that's nice. Then I told her to transfer it back over to the other pharmacy. And then my regular pharmacy said she could have gotten a coupon that would have been a big discount and I could have forwarded it. Publix pharmacy doesn't to you. Any favor? It's all show it smokes and mirrors and they don't go out of your way at all. I have never had good luck there. I've always had trouble. I switched to Publix pharmacy from CVS and the change has been tremendous. The pharmacists at this location (Ocean Breeze) are always thinking critically and so helpful. For example, if a prescription is out of stock they offer to find it at different nearby location. They have also helped me discuss price increases with my insurance company. 10/10.

The rudest experience I have ever encountered at a Publix. They had no interest in helping us, didn’t try to understand and were just rude! We went to ask the manager for help and he apparently already knew of our situation and was just as unfriendly as the pharmacy workers were. I called the Publix down the street at Cornerstone at Stuart and the sweet lady at the pharmacy tried to help all she could! She suggested I check with customer service to see if they had a way to run a virtual credit card from the drug manufacturer to cover the co-pay. The EVEN SWEETER customer service manager tried all she could. In the end they don’t have a way to run a virtual card but when I tell you they jumped through hoops to try, they really did! I will never step foot back in this Publix again. C

I'd like to thank Joseph for his incredible customer service. My insurance requires me to purchase my medication from Walgreens. The Walgreens on Jensen Beach boulevard is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I took my prescription over to Publix I showed it to Joseph. He called Walgreens and got it transferred over to him and for $38 I got arthritis medication in approximately 10 minutes. Thanks again Joseph you're an excellent pharmacist.

The folks at the pharmacy are always awesome. Efficient. Easy to understand and always looking for the best financial choice for RX. Now if we can get the grocery side to do the same with $$. Kudos to the pharmacy dept
