Publix Pharmacy at Mountain Cove Crossing

My mother was out of insulin and they refused to refill her prescription without doctor’s approval. Doctor’s office was closed so now she’s out of insulin. People can die without their insulin. Worst pharmacy!

This pharmacy has really declined in the past year. They have an employee that is rude and hangs up on you instead of being helpful. It’s disappointing but I’ll be glad to transfer to one that does have a drive thru. I know it’s convenient for people to get their flu shots and other vaccines where they buy groceries, but they need to figure out a system where it doesn’t prevent them from filling prescriptions in a timely manner.

Terrible customer service. We have been using this pharmacy for a while and have had consistently awful service. - We always request the courtesy text service when filling prescriptions - we never get a text (we give our phone number each time). - The staff does not inform us when something is wrong with the prescription (either out of refills or the medicine is not in stock) until we come to pick up the (non-existent) medicine. - The staff always offers to call the physician's office to obtain more refills...but either doesn't follow through or fails to notify us that their fax attempt did not work. - If we wait for the refill in person, the fill time is painfully slow.

This pharmacy has such hard workers all doing their usual workload filling prescriptions while also adding workloads related to two different viruses (COVID-19, two different vaccine options, and flu). Pharmacy staff are often mistreated for issues they cannot control (I.e, insurance). Be nice to your pharmacy staff! :-)
