Publix Pharmacy at May River Crossing

This pharmacy is horrible. I’ve only had problems here. And the customer service is not good. I was excited for this pharmacy because it is literally 5 minutes down the street but I am switching back to CVS pharmacy. This pharmacy is not worth the trouble. They have even misplaced one of my children’s prescriptions at one point when I was trying to switch my child’s prescriptions to CVS because Publix was giving me a hard time adding my babies insurance information. CVS called me to ask if I had picked up the prescription because Publix said they did not have it. It ended up being switched to CVS eventually but that is a big deal! Not all of the staff is unpleasant but it’s been more bad than good.

This place is absolutely terrible. Their communication is beyond frustrating. If you need anything urgently, don’t count on it. I was told my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes, then two hours later it still wasn’t filled. No updates, no urgency, no accountability. It genuinely feels like they don’t care at all, even when timing matters.

Allen at Publix May River Pharmacy is always a warm, smiling, welcoming face! Such a pleasure to see him when my family uses this pharmacy.

Poor communication can hardly ever get someone on the phone to speak to, and they almost never have medications in stock! Not just one medication, several different medications. Frustrating to say the least. I have begun having my family's Rx filled at CVS often and sometimes other Publix, but not this location. Seems to have gotten worse in the last year or so. I did not know Mina was gone. That is a shame because it was so much better run when he was there!

Q is amazing and helped me so much to get my prescriptions filled- seriously made it so easy for me and went above and beyond to make it simple on my end. She deserves the best year ever and probably a raise.🩵💚💛
