Publix Pharmacy at Marathon

Staying a couple of day's in Marathon on a short notice trip. Called ahead from my home in MB, and spoke to the Pharmacist. Nick. I inquired on having my prescriptions transferred and filled at his location. Nick was outstanding in every way. He was able to get my wife's prescriptions filled without any issues. He was a pleasure to deal with. I appreciate his assistance in everyday. Kudos' to this pharmacy.

The staff at this small pharmacy is Always busy no matter what time if day I pass by there.( Pharmacy is located inside grocery store). But quick to stop what they're doing to help you w smiles and professionalism. They also work hard to find those of us w out insurance the best possible price. Way to go team especially Bridgette the Manager. She's Great!

The pharmacy calls us to say they have one of our prescriptions and they will transfer the other. Due to other issues, it took us a day to get there. The very rude Spanish speaking woman claimed they didn't call until I showed her the incoming call on my phone. She put us off as long as she could and then claimed they had just come in that day, so we would have to come back tomorrow because they were unpacking four crates of prescriptions. All of which I doubt. This is the last place that you want to fil your prescription or may be it's just the one rude clerk However, as a very busy person, I do not have time for her games. llévatelo a otro lado

The pharmacist who was working this evening was absolutely rude. I arrived around 6:30pm and was asked to come back because this gentleman had a bunch more prescriptions to fill so that people could get their medication the following day. I understand being in the middle of something when I walked up. However, he was just finishing the customer ahead of me. I would have been just fine had he said it in a different way. But clearly because I am a woman asking for something behind the counter I am less important. Instead of wasting my time or money there at this establishment I went across the street to the Walgreens where their Pharmacist Don was absolutely helpful and not sexist like the Male Pharmacist at Publix in Marathon. Not Helpful to parents. They dont even know what insurances they take.. theres no list.. no knowledge of insurances that they work with DAILYY!!!. I AM A PROVIDER NOT A PATIENT, I called from NICKLAUS CHILDRENS HOSPITAL to send over a med for a patient and they told me to get the patients insurance card, call medicaid and ask if they take it. Its the worst experience ive ever encountered with a publix pharmacy!!! NO HELP and This is a patient and parent with neurological/learning difficulties. this is totally unacceptable. what happens with the older community that needs assistance as well? Not even the store manager was able to help with the request SHE HAS ME ON HOLD 20 MIN THEN HANGS UP THE PHONE 3X!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER !!!!
