Publix Pharmacy at Lakewood Ranch Gateway

Last year our independent pharmacy closed and I was so concerned we wouldn't find a “big” pharmacy to meet our needs. We have many medications, questions, contraindications- so much🙄. In ONE day ALL were transferred. Brian is some kind of Pharmacy Phenom, who answers ALL questions, the entire team is remarkable, refills in mostly an hour. I believe we’ve found the best- for real😄

I can’t say enough good things about the Pharmacists here at Publix in Lakewood Ranch. I have been a customer of CVS since they opened the location Across the street, however they lack the professionalism & customer service that this location provides..Both Pharmacists I have interacted with (Male & Female)were highly skilled & knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location. I will be transferring all of my family and my prescriptions immediately.Furthermore the staff is also very professional, which proves with good leadership, and structure from the top it trifles down.

Huge thank you to the staff at the pharmacy here. I was in a situation where Cvs across the street from them had messed up with my sons prescriptions. I was under the assumption that they had the anabiotic‘s that my son needed however upon arrival they did not. So I rushed over to this Lakewood Ranch Publix Pharmacy location let them know the situation that was at hand. And they quickly called over to CVS and got my script for my son transferred over to them. And made sure that it was filled within less than 10 minutes so that I could be back on the road and get home to my son to make sure that he got antibiotics in him before he got to bed. The pharmacy tech and the pharmacist were incredible they were so kind and caring and helpful they really made a huge difference for myself my husband

This pharmacy is not like Publix at all. They just don't care. Unfortunately it's not the first time this happens. You show up for the prescription and it's not ready. They don't tell you why. You have to keep asking. Different people give you different answers. As it turns out they were missing insurance info. They could've given me a call and ask for it. No. I have to wait an hour in Publix until it's ready or take another trip with 2 sick kids.

I love this Publix Pharmacy. Always courteous, and I like their store policies in general. I’ve been shopping at the Publix stores and pharmacies for 25 years. They are the best of the best.
