Publix Pharmacy at Lake Forest

Just went today and dealt with pharmacist Natalie who was extremely rude. My insurance is up to date and doesn’t expire till next year however Natalie was struggling with entering my insurance information. I asked if she needed my insurances number to call and she said that’s not her job which any other pharmacy I’ve gone to would do it. Then I told her I need a transfer and she told me to do it myself. Natalie refused me service twice and made sure to give me a nasty attitude while she did it. Disgusting service I’m upset for distressed people who go to pickup medication for worse things and have to receive this horrible service, I truly hope it’s corrected.

If it is a prescription that you need and depend on, this would not be the pharmacy to use. It used to be a great place but lately it is slow, and in my most recent case, the prescription was sent to a publix on the other side of town. They offered no assistance in correcting the issue and suggested I "drive there and get it". It was much easier to contact my doctor and have all of my prescriptions moved to CVS.

This pharmacy is extremely untrustworthy. The staff is incredibly rude, and one of them even stole a prescription and blamed it on me. Someone needs to thoroughly review their work here.

This happened on Friday Jan 24 at 4:30pm. Pharmacist with long blond hair and glasses. First I am asked to sign that I accepted the instructions (which I never received )from the pharmacist. Then when I got my kids antibiotics and politely asked about instructions, she told me it’s on the bottle! Wow, simply the opposite of courteous. Correct me if I am wrong, isn’t it the job of the pharmacist to instruct the patients on the intake, frequency and food intake with the medication?!! This was antibiotic for a kid. It’s disappointing and unprofessional. Too bad that Publix has someone like this representing them.

*** Don’t Trust Their Count !!! *** I was prescribed antibiotic's for 7 days yesterday 2/20/25 today 2/21/25 i realized they have given me 4 less, thought maybe an oversight or genuine human mistake. Called them and spoke to Ms Krupa. She is actually the manager, was given a flat NO ! and treated me like i was lieing for .25 cents pill ! Be careful, and please verify the count ! They will never accept thier error and very rude ! Will never buy meds from them . What a scam !
