Publix Pharmacy at Cosby Village

I absolutely loved this location when they first opened but I find every time I interact with them I'm frustrated. Almost every time a prescription is sent in it takes so long for it to be filled. Often 2-3 days, and it never fails that I get a text that a prescription is ready right before they close. If I call and ask for it to be filled sooner they always say, "sure, give me 30-60 minutes!" I know by now it will probably be closer to 4-6 hours. If I come through the drive thru I expect to be there a solid 10 or more minutes for each car in front of me. I usually don't get in line if there are others waiting. Last week I specifically waited to pick up prescriptions so all would be ready for my family. I still made it home without one that was definitely ready when I picked the others up.

The staff is always so nice and helpful. The drive-thru line hardly ever seems to be long. The only complaint is that it takes a long time for prescriptions to be filled. Is there something that could be done to help streamline the process and make it faster and more efficient?

Not sure if this location has a staffing issue but my doctor sent them 2 scripts at 10:30 am and when I stopped by after work at 5:30 pm they were not ready. Be prepared for scripts not to be filled the same day even if they are called in early in the day. This is the norm here as a month ago the same thing happened and that time it almost wasn’t ready by the end of the second day. Love the grocery store but not the pharmacy!

I like Publix pharmacies but this location is the most incompetent. Looks like they fill pharmacy spots by employees who normally work in grocery department. Highly unprofessional attitude. Every time I have prescription here, they have to dig for it and still it’s not ready even I send the refill online or my doctor sends it. Harbor Pointe and Pump Rd pharmacies are the best. Unluckily I have recently moved in this area and I have to deal with this location :(

Always pretty good. My prescriptions are ready when they tell me. They are polite and courteous when i go there.
