Publix Pharmacy at Acworth

Really good experience in this pharmacy, that's the place where I pickup sometimes the medicine, they has a really good customer service, sometimes by phonecall it's hard to talking directly with them (you have to call in a strategic hours) but the rest of all they are effective with their service. You have to being really sure when you gonna pick your medicines by insurance bc sometimes you have to pay a fee, but that's not a big problem when the good customer service. Also they close at 9pm I consider that an accessible schedule. 100% recommend 👌

I would give zero stars if I could. It doesn't matter when you request a refill, your medicine will never been ready on time. I had meds ordered before 9am and received a text that they were ready. I went directly from the hospital, where I had been discharged after a C-section, and was told they never received my prescription orders. Luckily I had hard copies but I still had to wait 30 minutes. I have also received texts about refills and authorized them, only for them to not be ready hours later. I don't know what's up with this pharmacy, who is managing it, but they're not doing a good job. Today was the final straw and I will not be getting my meds filled there any longer. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some time and get your meds through Amazon or literally anywhere else.

Make sure to order your refills a couple weeks in advance (a month out wouldn't hurt). Placed a refill order on Monday over the phone, the automated message said it'd be ready Tuesday, got there on FRIDAY to pick it up, and it wasn't ready. Then the girl tells me if I want to wait, it'll be ready in 20 minutes...but you already had 96 HOURS! This happens every time with this pharmacy, so I'll be redirecting my prescriptions to another location. If I was so lax about time with my job, I'd be fired, but apparently to this pharmacy, medicines people need every day to be healthy aren't a big deal

Love this publix but consistently have issues with the pharmacy. They always take forever and my wife's most recent experience made us find a new pharmacy. Our 4 month old daughter needed a cream, my wife went to pick it up and was told it would be ready in 30 to 45 minutes. She waited in her car for an hour, went back inside and was told they didn't have the medicine in stock. Just seems like the pharmacy could be run a lot better.

Meds are never ready or filled when they are supposed to be. I have also had two experiences where they have said my doctor needs to authorize a refill, when that actually wasn’t the case. Save yourself the headache and get your meds filled somewhere else. Seems like they’d manage better with less customers…
