PruittHealth - Magnolia Manor

My stepdad was recently discharged from here. He is in worse shape now than when he went there . After 20 days, he can no longer stand, the bedsores he had when he was admitted are 100% worse and he has new ones. He went to PT for about an hour each day. One of the things they were going to work on was standing from sitting position. Well he went from being able to stand with assistance to not being able to stand at all. My mother found him sitting in poop and cleaned him up herself b/c no one cleaned him up despite being called. We found his bedsheets soiled several times. The food is also awful. Many times it arrived cold or it was not eatable. Iwould not recommend Magnolia Manor to my worst enemy.

Best facility in South GA!! We could not have asked for better care during my mother’s stay. From start to finish, the care was above and beyond. The customer service we had was top notch, especially compared to other facilities we’ve experienced with our daddy and other family members. We couldn’t be any more satisfied. Also, it’s a beautiful top of the line facility with very nice furniture and super clean!

Dont be fooled by the pretty fountain. Negligence all over the place. Understaffed. My dad sat in filth for long periods of time. He was told “I’ll find someone to help” and then left in filth or slumped over multiple times. No communication with us from staff unless we sought it out. Discharged him knowing he couldn’t walk with no guidance or discussion of what we should do for home care. My dad is twice as bad as he was when he went there for rehab. Don’t walk run away from this place.

this is a good environment for a family memeber, & also it’s an well taken care of facility. the rehab social worker Naco Blackwell do a great exceptional job on working with the family.

This place was awful. My Life Partner was here. They wanted him sitting up in a chair by day 2. Maybe that doesn’t sound like much but he had been in the hospital for 3 weeks, flat on his back. There were times he didn’t even get a meal. And he came put of there with bed sores. Might be a great place for some, but if you don’t do PT wants you are out.
