WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVE ONE TO THIS PLACE. If I could give zero stars, I most definitely would. My aunt was a resident in this facility for Rehab and it was awful. We discharged her after only being there for a few days of a 20 day stay. First of all, we were given a tour weeks before she was to admit, and we were not 100% happy with the place then because all of the residents were sitting in the front lobby doing nothing. We were taken for a tour and the staff were all sitting at the desk and never even acknowledged us. We were then introduced to the DON, Jenifer, which was very pleasant. After being admitted, my family had to sit at the end of the hall for hours because the room was never cleaned after the last person had left. The food is disgusting. I wouldn't feed it to my dog

My mom has been a resident at Pruitt for six months. She has received very good care. Having dementia she can be challenging but the nurses and staff have treated her with dignity and kept me informed at all times. I appreciate the care mom receives at Pruitt Healthcare in Covington GA.

My brother is currently in this facility. He has been there for a week and has received 2 doses of insulin when he requires a daily dose,in addition he has blood pressure issues and has yet to receive his medication. You state your staff is qualified but they have failed to meet his medical needs. He came in for therapy, and is currently in so much pain and they expect him to move around. Now he is requesting to leave and is being threatened that he will be reported to Adult Protected Services. I will be reporting this facility to Medcaid since im assuming this is the real reason they do not want to release him since its a guaranteed 20 day check.

We used Pruitt for our dad’s care twice based on the number of stars it had on its reviews. His first stay was good. Lots of support and help from the social worker and staff. But his second visit wasn’t so. Just make sure you keep track of your love ones belongings . They could get lost. And information from the hospital.

My husband has been here for three days. They still have not got his meds correct. Every shift gives you a different excuse and "promise" to correct it. Three days and they just got his diet correct (as a diabetic). He is also blind so has to depend on staff to ensure he is getting what he needs and it's not happening. He was promised a shower today and never got it, then night staff told him they don't do showers on their shift. He has the right to leave but was threatened with "insurance might not pay " for his stay if he leaves without discharge. So we waited all day for an answer and never got it. I'm contacting insurance first thing on Monday morning and filing numerous complaints!!
