Providence St. Joseph's Hospital

This place is awful. The Dr didn’t follow through with labs. They gave a prescription for an infection but didn’t bother to send the sample to be tested so the antibiotics didn’t work. A week later the infection was much worse so we go back and get to be treated badly again. And they are extremely rude…Drive into Spokane if you can.

I brought my mom to the ER at Providence st Joseph in Chewelah this morning and what a breath of fresh air. We were taken back to a room within minutes and assisted by extremely caring and competent nurses, tech’s and Dr Moore who was just as fabulous. We will definitely go here again instead of driving to Spokane and waiting 4+ hours in the ER waiting room before being taken back to a room and then treated. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate the staff at Spokane hospitals, it is the ER waiting time that is so discouraging. Thank you Chewelah hospital for taking such wonderful care of my mom on Mother’s Day.

Brought my 4 year old in tonight for a cut that he had to get stiches for. The entire staff was so welcoming. They did such a great job taking care of him and making him feel comfortable. Even sent him and his little brother home with ice cream and stuffed animals. Great Hospital for our town!

Amazing, caring, knowledgeable staff! Uncommon to have kindness and compassion in hospitals but not for this place. Thank you for your help today!

They were so beyond caring and helpful. We had to bring my daughter here when she got very sick on vacation. No wait and they were wonderful. Dr Roth is great and all the staff.
