ProMedica Urgent Care - Perrysburg

The front desk staff on 3/2/26 at 4:30pm were friendly and professional as they took their responsibilities seriously as they interacted with clients. Nurse practitioner Eric R was excellent. He came in and was familiar with my symptoms and talked about course of action, shared options for treatment and always asked what course of action I would like to take. He provided tests for infection and the front desk called me to let me know the results after my visit was over, plus updated the medication at the pharmacy. Excellent care at this visit. 😀👍🥇

My experiences at this urgent care have been disappointing more than once, but my most recent visit was the final straw. This past Sunday, I saw Dr. Eric for symptoms I believed had progressed from a viral illness into a sinus infection. I had been sick for five days and was getting progressively worse, with significant facial pain, migraines, ear pain, and pressure. Instead of a thorough evaluation, I was lectured for 10–15 minutes about the difference between viral and bacterial infections and told everything was viral. I was told my ears were clear, that I had no facial pain, and no real examination of my face was even done (no palpation like doctors typically do). much like others have stated, I would give zero but its not an option. My daughter went here, with white gunk on her tonsils, once in, they asked her what they wanted them to test for....which is already strange because she doesn't know, thats why she's there. Anyway, they test for strep and its neg. so they send her home and say take meds for pain. Then it gets much much worse one day she wakes up and lymph nodes are massively swollen behind her ears to the point where her airway is obstructed and she can barley talk. She goes back in and again they ask what she wants them to test for. She says no dont test for strep its not strep so they do some other test that covers a few different things. They say go home and will call if anything shows. Nothing they tested for came back positive.

We use this urgent care at least once a year. I have never had a bad experience but tonight's visit was phenomenal! I'm sure the staff was ready to go home but it worked for me bc we were in and out! From the front desk check in, to the nurse, to the nurse practitioner quick smooth transition. Erin Simpson even took the time to show me what a healthy ear looks like in comparison to an infected one. Thank you Perrysburg Promedica Urgent Care staff for all you do, I'm sure the gratitude isn't expressed enough.

Its an insurance scam Wish I couldn't even give a star but I wouldn't be able to leave the review. Just left there for no reason. At a 100.6 temperature can't fill my fingers. My feet in pain aches, she tells me I have a flu and there's nothing that she can do mind you. She never tested me because I got there at 7 o'clock. They didn't get me back there till 750 and by time she got in the room, she said she can't test me because it's 8 o'clock and it's time for her to go home. So I could die in a couple of days, just because she don't want to test me I will never waste my time to go there ever again and would never recommend anybody else.Just go to the emergency room way faster way more reliable , way , better and cleaner.
