Progressive Oral Surgery

Dr. Hanna did my coronectomy and wisdom teeth extractions today. His bedside manner and that of one of the dental assistants (I hate that I forgot her name) is top tier. They made me so comfortable and less stressed about the procedure. To top that off, I emailed Dr. Hanna at around 10pm the same evening (Saturday night) as I was having a reaction to the pills I was prescribed, and understood I would likely not hear back until Monday. To my pleasant surprise, he quite literally called me two minutes later apologizing for my discomfort, and advising what the appropriate next steps were and that he would prescribe a different medication. Thank you so much Dr. Hanna! I appreciate you and the team so much!

Today , i went in for a consultation for a possible extraction and implant, I did NOT have an appointment and was very skeptical I would be seen. At the front desk I met Angie and Nicole who were exceptionally warm and professional. I shared my trepidation with them as to the cost, and they assured me that they would verify BEFORE I go in— they did— THANK you!! I was then ushered in by Karen - very thorough and with whom I shared my dental X- Rays . I then met Dr. Harry Sacks, a consummate professional and exudes confidence. He tested the tooth, checked all around, and concluded- “ If this were my tooth, I’d leave it and monitor” Thank you doctor , and I did take his advice!!! Worst experience ever! Dr. Lee behaves as he is the only oral surgeon in the world. I brought my daughter for a procedure consultation. At first, they charged me $90 for a consultation fee, then pushed me to do a CT for my daughter with $300. I concerned the radiation and questioned about the necessary. Then this doctor got upset, disturbed my question, told me “ Time out !Time out!” I even seldom talk to my kids this way. After the CT, he told me I have to wait their phone call about the insurance coverage, or call back in one month. I totally confused at that moment. If they didn’t even check the insurance, why they did a CT to my teenager daughter !? When I asked this, he said, “ All my patients do this procedure. I could not have had a better experience coming here. They made my 12 year old feel very safe and comfortable. While removing three teeth my son was laughing and in great spirits while the doctor made joke after joke. Before we knew it he was done and what started off as a nervous morning became a great start to our weekend. Thank you progressive oral surgery for making this a experience so comfortable for us!

Dr. Sacks used to be my go to oral surgeon but is now out of my network so I was referred to Dr. James Pezzolo and was not disappointed. He had to do a pretty tough extraction but I didn’t feel anything. He checked to make sure I was ok the whole time and voila. Success. The office is extremely high tech, immaculate, has generous seating and is easy to get to. Also a big plus, there are outlets to charge your phone located above almost every seat. Since I was the only patient when I arrived, I heard Sympathy for the devil playing and sat next to the speaker. Aerosmith, The Zombies, Zeppelin and Creedence also played.
