After some thinking, perhaps 4.5/5 stars would be more appropriate? I had a great time at NQE- well, as great as anyone prepared for a root canal but still hoping not to get one can be. But the wait time is /long/. The front desk staff person remained polite before and after my appointment. Dr. Stephen Kwon really is as kind and knowledgeable as I was told. He shared his speculations on the cause of my tooth infection, provided me something to keep my mouth comfortably open during the procedure, and gave me ways to signal my discomfort and opportunities to take a break. It really felt like everyone working there knew exactly what to do and actually cared about taking the time to do things properly, not in a rush to get things finished or see the next patient. Highly recommend Dr. Einbender and his team if you’re in the unfortunate position of needing a root canal. Everyone in the practice is welcoming, friendly and does a great job of making you feel comfortable. Dr. Einbender provide excellent care. He explained things clearly and thoroughly delivering a pain free experience. Truly the best you could hope for when needing a root canal.

Very Happy my Dentist recommended Nassau-Queens Endodontics for a root canal. Dr. Ina Han started the root canal that had to be done in two visits. Because this root canal was very difficult and complicated the chances of saving the tooth were not very good. Dr.Einbender completed the root canal on my second visit. I am very grateful to Dr, EinBender ,Dr.Han and the staff at NQE. Dr. Einbender has the right personality, professionalism and expertise to make the most difficult procedures happen.

I arrived 10 minutes late due to a major Verizon outage that prevented me from accessing important office information. When I spoke with the receptionist, I asked if I should reschedule, and she assured me that I should proceed with my appointment. After taking X-rays, Dr. K proceeded to give me four injections to numb my mouth. Then, to my shock, he casually mentioned, “I might not have enough time to finish; you may have to come back.” This was after he had already numbed me with four needles. I couldn't help but question why he didn't communicate this possibility upfront. Who would want to go through such an ordeal again? I am deeply disappointed and bewildered by this experience. I had a root canal done by Dr. Kwon. He is so calm and caring. He explained everything to me before he started. He was patient when I asked questions and answered them fully. I would highly recommend Nassau-Queens Endodontics for any of your endodontic needs. The office staff was great, too! They greeted me with a smile and told me I would be called back soon and I was. Overall, as someone who doesn't like going in for any dental procedure, this was as pleasant a dental experience as you can get!
