Professional Arts Specialty Pharmacy

Unethical, pressure sales. Charged be for medication that was covered by my insurance. They called me to tell me that my insurance was not covering the medication and I needed to pay out of pocket. I was at work and was confused but provided payment. The next day, I called the insurance company and they had no record of the prescription request. However, the medication was covered. Called this pharmacy and they assured me that had me on a recorded line providing payment. Why was it unethical? Because they should have waited to hear back from the insurance before pressing me for payment. Also, unhappy with the doctor's office for sending the prescription to this unknown pharmacy. I usually use CVS or Express Scripts and I never had coverage issues.

I have been using Professional Arts for a mail order medication not covered by my insurance for over a year. Besides having the best price, their customer service team has been AMAZING through all my weird issues: name change, lost shipment, erroneous prescription sent by my doctor, and even multiple payment updates as I switched banks. Thank you for always being on top of things!

The employees here are the nicest and most helpful people. I typically drive once a month from Baton Rouge to get my prescription filled (compounding pharmacy here is a lot slower). This past month, I decided to have it shipped just to see how long it would take, and it was delivered the very next day. This pharmacy does not mess around—highly recommend!
