Proctor Family Dentistry

I recently had a phenomenal experience with the Proctor Family Dentistry. I was on vacation for the weekend nearby Tacoma (currently live out of state). On a Friday evening, one of my molars had a piece of it fracture off that caused sensitivity and needed quick attention. I called early Saturday morning and the front desk employee understood the sense of urgency and was graciously able to organize the schedule to fit me in and check it out. The dental hygienist and Dr. Joelle Moussi were able to quickly asses the tooth condition and gave me three different repair options along with pricing. I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to let folks know this is a great office. After moving here recently, I needed a new dentist. The first one I found (with hundreds of 5 star reviews) told me I needed all my mercury fillings removed and pushed to schedule it as soon as possible. He went so far as to suggested my teeth could burst at any time due to the age of the fillings. I knew this was highly unlikely to be true, so I sought a second opinion at Proctor with Dr. Northcutt. What a breath of fresh air! Dr Northcutt is very professional, great bed side manner. Explained everything very well--and not surprisingly, I did not need those fillings removed. The office runs on time--another plus for me. Hopefully I will be a patient here for years and years to come.

History of bad fillings, inconsistent policies, and false advertising about dental emergencies. Was a client for a few years but definitely won’t go back.
