This has been the worst process ever. I heed this was the most tolerable Lpn program in Philadelphia. Although I will never experience that! I have been trying to get through the admission process for months. I call, leave voicemails, refill the application process online, refill the ‘contact us’ form. Nobody has been getting back to me
My experience at Prism Career Institute’s nursing program has been deeply disappointing and concerning, particularly under the leadership of **Dr. Moraros, EdD, MSHSA, MSN, RN, PHN**, Executive Regional Dean of Nursing Education. Dr. Moraros publicly states that he is *“committed to fostering a rigorous and supportive learning environment for all nursing students.”* Unfortunately, based on my direct experience as a student, this statement does not reflect the reality within the program since his arrival. Since Dr. Moraros assumed this role, multiple professors have left the program. Students have observed and experienced unprofessional conduct, including comments perceived as rude and racially insensitive, which contributed to a hostile and unsupportive learning environment. This has neg
Read reviews from the summer, notice they're all 5 stars because Prism makes new students balance out their bad reviews, which they're constantly flooded with after each term. I'm not sure why they think they can fail to uphold their principles, they certainly have no issue taking people's money, or hiding cash people pay them to "make up" missed days, which is interesting. I suspect a class-action lawsuit is to be filed in the next couple months.
The admissions process with Prism was quick and fairly easy. There was good communication throughout the process on what the next steps were to be completed. I was able to get enrolled in about a month. I’m excited to move forward with Prism!
RUN! Getting out of this school has become the hardest thing possible I signed up for 15 months and the school is dragging the 15 months most students will probably do up to 2 years plus. For that amount of time you could be in RN school leaving with an associates degree. The curriculum changes DRASTICALLY throughout the term which is hard to keep a consistent academic plan. It’s about 2 good teachers left who actually care about the progress and academic plan for students Mr. Sam being one of them.
