I am beyond grateful for Dr. Funicello's care. I had been to 2 other orthopedic groups prior to meeting him. He was the 1st Doctor to hear my voice, listen attentively and genuinely care about how I was feeling. He took the time to explain my x-ray and mri and options he could provide. He then went above and beyond, contacted my insurance company got approval for cortisone and steroid shots in my neck and gave them to me at the very same appt! This is unheard of today! He also recommended specific devices and apparatus I could utilize to further help with the arthritis in my neck. I left that appt feeling 100 percent better, both mentally and physically, then when I had arrived. Dr. Funicello has a skill and talent for listening to his patience and helping to control pain and joint issues with several procedures. He keeps up to date on medical research, new treatments, so his suggestions are not medically dated. His office is wonderfully run as well and the PA's are also very available and helpful. I am grateful for all his has done for me.
