PrimeHealth Urgent Care - West Bradenton

I had a great experience at Prime Health Urgent Care from the moment I walked in! Isabella was at the front desk, very sweet and friendly. The MA, Yanet, was super helpful, fast, efficient, and I had great energy about her. Dr. Alex was a great listener, explained me everything with details. Great experience. I would go back there. Also very clean and neat.

I would describe this as “serviceable”. So if you must, go ahead. But if you can go elsewhere, I’d suggest it. Tried calling—got an AI bot. Not great considering you’re calling an urgent care and likely need to see a human. Did route to a person after asking twice. The front desk had an issue with their login to verify my insurance, so asked me to pay for it cash and then they’d give me a super bill to file with insurance. Thankfully a supervisor, or leader, walked in then and her login worked fine so I was able to use my insurance. The PA was perfectly fine, but I had to ask her to look at my ears again for her to confirm the second time that there was fluid. Which is why I was there in the first place. We are here on vacation and needed medical assistance for bronchitis. Unfortunately, we tried for several days ro treat the condition ourselves with over the counter medication and treatments, but were unsuccessful. This led us to looking for an urgent care nearby for assistance with the deep persistent cough that caused heaving and loss of sleep due to its violence and frequency and other associated symptoms. We made an appointment to be seen, and the appointment time came and went and 45 minutes later were called back to be seen. We were there for over 2 hours for reasons unrelated to the bronchitis, and were finally released from care. We went to the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions and found that no cough medicine had been prescribed. So we're now back at square one, trying to use

I can bet most of these 5 star reviews are fake. Came in on 11/22 (Saturday) so my son could be checked out since his regular pediatrician is closed on weekends. He woke up with thrush, and although we knew what he had, we still needed a prescription. The front desk was lovely and quick. Wish I could say the same about Kristen Batt, PA. She treated us like we were an inconvenience, and she was pretty discouraging about the treatment plan. Before leaving, we asked if he should avoid any foods, and she said no restrictions were needed. If you have ANY ounce of medical background, you know certain foods and ingredients (like sugar) can worsen the infection. What does she immediately do after we leave the room? Offer him a lollipop. Front desk girl very sweet and NP very thorough, quick but not rushing me, smiling and seemed to enjoy her job. By far this was the best experience I have EVER had with and urgent care facility.
