Absolute trash place to receive healthcare with scam practices, lying about in-network insurance, and leaving us hanging for over 4 MONTHS. My partner called the office prior to coming in asking if they are in-network for his insurance and they said yes. He came in, received a Covid test, flu test, and a “direct optical exam” (doctor looking at the patient lol) and was billed $325! The bill obviously raised concerns so we called Tricare only to confirm that they are OUT OF NETWORK. I called the office directly and have on audio recording saying they are in-network for the specific Tricare plan, which again, is said otherwise by Tricare. We have both called PrimeDoc billing and left voicemails since his visit on NOV 7 2025! It’s March 9 2026! Avoid at all costs (literally!)!! And please do

I have been a patient of Dr. Valero-Colon for about three years, and she is wonderful. She is kind, truly cares about my health concerns, and has always been on point with her recommendations. I recently moved from Columbia, but I am willing to drive the extra distance just to continue being treated by her. She is bilingual, and appointments never feel rushed. Whenever I call for medication refills, the staff is always helpful and responsive.

I feel completely neglected as a patient. PrimeDoc Columbia is absolutely horrible at communication and follow-up. It does not matter if you send emails or messages through their patient portal — you simply do not get answers. I reached out multiple times and was ignored. Because they failed to follow up with me, I was forced to book an entire medical appointment and pay a copay just to get information I should have received by email. I wasted both my time and my money. It is now January 13 and I am still without the medication I need and still without a proper reply. This is unacceptable and irresponsible patient management. Healthcare providers should not leave patients in the dark this way, especially when medications are involved. I will absolutely be going elsewhere.

Every experience I have had here has been wonderful. All of the providers have been kind and very thorough. I never have to wait long, any forms I need filled out are done immediately and blood work is conveniently located within the office as well. They usually also have a lot of appointment times. No complaints whatsoever.

The appointment, front staff and Laura Bothe, FNP, were all exceptional, timely and very thorough. I actually had a great conversation with a medical practitioner who actually listened and didn't seem like they were just rushing to get to the next patient. Thank you!
