Walked in to ask if they accepted my insurance, and left with a teeth cleaning. Front desk was super nice and walked me through the process and gave me the option to get seen the same day. Xray technician was efficient, respectful and quick. The doctor was great, explained my x rays and taught me things I didn’t know about my teeth. He then handed me over to the dental hygienist, who cleaned my teeth, she was gentle and this has to be the first time I did a cleaning and didn’t feel any discomfort. She was awesome. Taught me about fluoride gel which I will be requesting during my next cleaning! Overall the staff was kind, informative and very organized.

⭐☆☆☆☆ I’m sharing my personal experience at Prime Dental Partners of Sheepshead Bay so others can make informed decisions. In March 2021, I chipped a front tooth and began treatment here. I was told it needed a root canal and crown, but the process dragged on for months while I was repeatedly told my insurance wouldn’t approve it because it was “cosmetic.” When I called the insurance myself, they approved the treatment immediately. My crown was placed in August 2021. By July 2025, I developed a strong rotting odor, bleeding, gum swelling, and a loose crown. I went back several times and was consistently told that “everything is fine,” even though the symptoms continued. Another tooth became infected during this time and eventually had to be removed. Seriously the nicest dentist I’ve ever been to, the front desk ladies were so welcoming and the dentist himself was so kind and explained everything he was doing and what I needed done. They went through everything with me step by step and no other dentists have done that for me. I’ve never been more at ease getting my teeth done and I’m so happy to say I have found my place. Thank you Prime Dental!

The dentist, hygienist, and front desk staff are the best and most caring that I have personally been to. 2 days before new years, my dental crown on my molar broke off and I called prime dental and they booked me in 1 hour before closing time. Because how late I arrived, the entire staff stayed over an hour past closing to help me get my tooth fixed which was unnecessary but they had gone out of their way to make sure everything was fixed on my end. They were able to repair and recement my tooth and took care of my issues. I'd highly recommend them if you are looking for a highly dedicated and supportive dental office.

One star — terrible experience. Prime Dental is completely unprofessional. The doctor installed a crown that was done wrong, and I’ve been in pain since. They charged me double what I was told, even though I came with insurance — and they never mentioned the procedure wouldn’t be fully covered. I went to another dentist who confirmed the work was poorly done. I’m currently pursuing legal action. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Update: Okay, never mind — it was my fault for ignoring all those 1-star reviews and still coming here. The management is terrible. They’ll try to manipulate you or respond with things like “see you in court” or call your review fake. Just look at all the other reviews — it’s clear. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
