Prime Care Phycians

Since the retirement of my doctor, the practice has decided to eliminate any gaps in their schedule to accommodate emergency patient visits. This means having to go to the urgent care or emergency room, rather than to be able to have the comfort and security of your trusted physician. Given that the patient is panicked, sobbing and bedding for help, only to be robotically informed of this new policy. She was “assigned” a new doctor after hers retired. She was not notified of her doctor’s retirement or given the opportunity to select the doctor of her choice. This is unconscionable and sad at the same time.
