Primary Medical Physicians - Manor Davie

I’ve been a patient here for over 3 years and have always had a great experience with Dr. Castellanos — no complaints at all about his care. My issue is with the office communication. I recently moved almost 3 hours away and asked if my lab review could be done over the phone. The doctor said no problem. I booked the appointment at the front desk, and they told me someone would call to collect the copay before the doctor called. No one ever called. The next day I followed up, and the answering service was very rude, insisting they don’t do phone visits. After explaining my situation, they said the office would call me later that day — but again, no call. The same thing happened the following day. Extremely Poor Experience – Do Not Recommend This was an awful, infuriating experience from start to finish, and I would strongly urge anyone considering this practice to go elsewhere. I arrived at 11:10 AM for an 11:30 appointment, only to waste 20 minutes circling their parking garage because there was no available parking. Patients are forced to use this garage despite it being completely inadequate. I finally checked in at 11:32, paid my copay, and was left sitting in the waiting room for another 30 minutes. When I was eventually called back, the nurse took my vitals and proceeded to ask questions I had already completed in the intake questionnaire—clearly without reviewing my chart. She then decided, without any discussion with a doctor and without my consent as an informed patient

The front desk person was nice. Beyond that this is the worst experience I’ve had at a doctor’s office. I was sitting in the examination room for over an hour and walked out after that. I speak 3 languages fluently, have lived in non-English speaking countries and am very understanding of language differences and am used to accents etc but the medical assistant (who was taking my entire medical history) could not understand English or what I was saying. I told them I had basal cell carcinoma in the past. They didn’t understand then looked up carcinoma on google. Then wrote carcinoma. I told them carcinoma is a very broad term and incorrect. They skipped to surgical history even though I wasn’t done with my medical history. I pulled up my records from my past doctor out of state and showed

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Primary Medical Physicians! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and efficient. But what truly made my visit exceptional was Dr. Sharon. She is kind, compassionate, and incredibly positive - exactly the kind of doctor everyone hopes to find. She took the time to listen, answered all my questions with care, and made me feel completely at ease. Her professionalism, empathy, and upbeat attitude are unmatched. I left feeling genuinely cared for and confident in my health plan. I highly recommend Dr. Sharon and the entire team at Primary Medical Physicians - they’re outstanding!

Dr Sharon is simply wonderful. It has taken me years literally to find a doctor that listens and doesn't just want to push pills on me or just say things like they're reciting a script. Thank goodness I found her. I really felt heard and cared for. I highly recommend her and this office. Update: my visit today was really eye opening. Dr Sharon absolutely cares about her patients. I felt very safe telling her all my concerns and I left today with a renewed hope and a plan.
