I am so grateful to have Dr Haas as my husband’s and my doc. He is available, compassionate, smart and allows us to feel his genuine caring about us and our health. We both feel blessed to know him.

Dr. Haas was incredibly patient and understanding. Maybe the best doctor I've had yet to date. Thank you Dr. Haas! Edit: Reduced my review to 3 stars. Got some bloodwork done but never heard back on the results. Scheduled a zoom meeting to find out if everything was okay and was billed for it. You'd think they'd at least send you an "all clear" email? Every other doctor I've had did at least. Care was still great though, so okay with keeping it at 3.

Dr. Haas took no action on my abnormal lab results for a year. Each time, he would say "X on your labs is still abnormal. You look pretty healthy... Come back in 8 weeks" I was sick enough that I had to quit my job and he knew this. The appointments are only 7 minutes long. My request for referrals and tests were met with reluctance. His disposition made me feel like my questions were a burden. He made an inappropriate joke about men in my bed when I told him I had an improvement in symptoms through dust mite allergen control. I left his office with no direction and tears many times. I am definitely grateful that I have been a client of the PMCM for approximately 5 years. The entire staff works hard to give their patients attention and quality care. On my last visit, initially I felt that Dr. Haas was very abrupt during my session yet I have came to the understanding that without a lot of conversation he did respond to my needs quickly and professionally.

This is a very unusual doctors' office. Elson Haas is one of the few doctors left, and especially in Marin, who is truly a "people's doctor," meaning that he's not in it for the money, but because he passionately believes in helping people and also in integrative health. Also, he is a very radiant and kind presence. I felt safe with him and I felt that he was seeing me as essentially healthy, even though he was impeccably investigating my concerns. I've had many experiences with doctors who are looking to diagnose you so that they can feel "good enough," and that they have something to fix, some latest illness for which drug company reps have programmed them into prescribing you some new drug... but he seems to feel "good enough" naturally.
