Presbyterian Hospital-Dallas: Lavasseur Nancy

Sorry, I know a lot of people complain about medical experiences but this isn’t one. I’ve unfortunately had unlucky fortune of seeing the inside of MANY hospitals on multiple continents. This was by and far the absolute best experience I’ve ever had. Had a little hiccup when I got to the ER, was supposed to be a ‘direct admission’, had my room number already confirmed via a phone call but things happen. Staff was outstanding, every person that I interacted with, and I mean everyone, was a pleasure to speak with and they were very attentive. Even the staff delivering meals-fantastic!! Can’t say enough about them. You are provided a MENU to choose your meals, and this food was delicious. My wife was staying with me overnight and you can order 1 companion meal for $10. I was brought here by ambulance on Sunday December 28 because my sugar dropped to 23. After getting to ER and given orange juice repeatedly I came around. And was told I would be discharged around 2:00am, I informed them that wouldn't be good due to me being on dialysis and I go in at first chair. I finally made it to my room at the main building room 414 around 3:00am. I told them in ER I was in severe pain but they gave me nothing. Then when I got in my room I was told nothing was put in my chart for pain. I had to endure pain all the way up to 4:45 before I was finally given a Norco pill. I explained to the nurse to let the doctor know that this pill doesn't really help me because I suffer from 3 forms of arthritis osteoarthritis, rheumatoid, and fibromyalgia. I recently had outpatient surgery, in December 2025, at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound, Texas. Removal of a bladder tumor. I was pleased through the overall process and results, starting with my family care Doctor Daniel Sone, Highland Village, Urologist Doctor Bryan Bruner, Grapevine/Flower Mound. Also the Hospital Outpatient day shift Nurses;Dr. V. Saluja, Anesthesiologist, and the Hospital volunteer Nurse greeter team. I am pleased to have this special care available in my community. The Google maps getting from the freeway & then onto the campus of Presby and trying to find the correct parking lot are horrible, and honestly, dangerous. Arrows telling you to turn at the last minute, one not warning it was over 2 lanes and a left arrow on a right turn. VERY confusing. The streets on hospital grounds have stop signs in areas where it tells you to turn & there isn't a street.

Sorry worst hospital to be in. my father had heart surgery val repair and died 2days later. He had cramps and they wouldn't look at his legs to see if he had blood clots. and the medicine the used in surgery was expired. if this hospital is great why did they not check on his legs. we told them again and again. watch out you could died here and they don't care. but they want your money. please pray for my dad and my family if you read this please.
