Premier Pediatrics

Absolutely love the staff here, nurses and Dr's are all patient and kind, my children love them. Today was my first time meeting the manager who was absolutely rude and unprofessional. Im applying for a handicap placard for my disabled son and she tried to get me to believe that because florida is a red state they are trying to do away with handicap placards all together. Which is a complete lie and I dont know if she kept reiterating RED STATE because she thought I support a different political party or what, but I am a registered REPUBLICAN, not like that has anything to do with my sons disability or should even be brought up at a medical office, politics have no place there. I am just completely flabbergasted.

The only reason I’m giving this place above 1 star is because 2/3 times I was here, I saw Dr. Vargas for my newborn - he is SO NICE & professional. My first visit to this office I saw a NP Shannon Grow for my 3 year olds well visit & for an issue she was experiencing - unimpressed is an understatement!!!! She wasn’t into engaging in conversation with my 3 year old at all… To the point my 3 year old said, “mommy, I think she isn’t talking to me.” So why are you working in a pediatricians office?? I had questions about some vaccines (not anti-vax but just had some questions) and I felt she was very judgy for me to even have the audacity to ask. The way some of the back office dresses is completely unprofessional for a medical office. I’ve seen nurses in jeans, business casual, low cut shirts

The Dr's are nice but this office is a joke. My newborn came for a weight check and shots 2 days before the 4 month mark. Refused to give him shots told me I had to come back. He contracted rsv from he office that date. 4 days later came back for 4 month shots and he had rsv they refused to give shots. He eneded up being life lighted to Orlando the next morning and came back a week later to get shots. Drove 45 min and got here they said they can't do shots today due to the fl system down. They can't verify what shots were given. Like they don't have their records. And all they said is to schedule again. This office is a joke and is horrible. Looking for a new pediatrician Monday.

I had an appointment at 11:00 a.m. and arrived at 10:55 a.m. I waited as patiently as I could. I saw other patients being called in 5–10 minutes after they arrived. I went up at least twice to check on the status and was told it wouldn’t be much longer. At 11:50 a.m., I checked again, and the receptionist said the providers were behind and asked if I would like to reschedule. I left at 11:58 a.m. It was a bit upsetting, especially with two kids under two who were fussy.

This office went down hill. They do not care about the patients just their own convenience. A provider can't prescribe a medication a patient is out of and needs but the provider that can cant be bothered until after the pharmacy closes. Let's let a child with ADHD be unmedicated so that they have to miss school the week before christmas when they need their medication to get things done.
