Today we visited the Alexandria, VA office for the penicillin test to get a definitive answer of whether my 11 year old really has this allergy from a reaction as an infant. The personnel who contacted me about scheduling and pre-visit details were courteous and helpful. I appreciate the reminders to prepare for the appointment. We showed up a half hour early per the directions. The rest began promptly at 10. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. They took the utmost care of my child. From our first visit to now (for our elementary age child), we’ve had a great experience with both the scheduling, the doctors, and nurse staff for allergy shots. Dr. Su was genuinely inquisitive about our concerns, took the time to understand the issues, and was thorough with testing and answering questions. The front desk administrator is super efficient at her job, clear with directions, and attentive! And the nurse was gentle and patient with our child with administering the shots. Overall we’ve had a great experience and plan to continue coming here for the foreseeable future.
