Dr. Zander is incredible. He’s truly earned a lifelong patient in me. Every visit feels like a reset — the adjustments are great, the massage therapists are top-tier, and the entire team makes the experience exceptional from start to finish. I’ve been going here regularly since a back injury I incurred six months ago, and not only has the injury completely healed, chronic pains I’ve been struggling with my whole life are better and I feel generally stronger than ever! Doctor Zander is a phenomenal healer and is great at instruction and finding the root of what’s going on. Sweet office dog Chloe is a plus.

Dr. Zander is a wizard. I first went to Portland Backsmith for lower back pain. I was very hesitant about seeing a chiropractor, but everything else I tried didn't help the pain go away. Dr. Zander quickly identified what was causing the pain and developed a comprehensive treatment plan that combined chiropractic work with various therapy techniques. He has an innate gift for identifying the problem, knowing what chiropractic/therapy work is needed to fix it, and always prioritizing quality over quantity in the adjustments. Dr. Zander is personable, an excellent listener, and someone who truly cares about alleviating pain—not just temporarily but for the long term. I started with Dr. Z and Odessa last year after a back injury that was extremely debilitating and painful. The whole staff is extremely kind, professional, and very skilled in their craft. I am 13mo out from my plan-of-care and went from a 9/10 daily pain to a 1/10 discomfort at times. Anyone with sciatic pain knows how big of a deal that is. I still visit the clinic as needed, would highly recommend for both chiro and massage needs!!

From the time I walked in the door and met with Dr. Alisha & Dr. Chris…I realized I came to the right place. Dr. Alisha made me feel comfortable and was genuinely concerned about my well-being. She immediately ordered x-rays of my back and they revealed other issues regarding my health. Dr. Alicia addressed everything with me thoroughly and then set up a treatment plan. I have also met with Dr. Chris, who is very knowledgeable and will be helping me to get well and live a better life.
