Portico Pediatrics (Now Willis Knighton Pediatric Healthcare Associates)

Horrible experience from front desk to being seen by the doctor. I came to this facility to have my child seen. The front desk told me I probably had insurance, but that it wasn’t active even though I had documentation showing otherwise. I called the insurance company got the information that I needed to provide to show them otherwise. The appointment had to be rescheduled for later on in the day. I came back and another issue with insurance was discovered. I called insurance again to get it resolved. As I was called to the back to be seen the DOCTOR made a comment about him not having to be seen due to the day before being seen at a QUickCare. Once he was actually seen by her, she realized that more needed to be done to resolve our medical issue.

As a first time mom it is very hard to feel 100% secure when handing your child over to a stranger but Dr. Haynes has been the absolute best thing to happen to our family. My son is very shy but she is able to make him feel right at home within minutes and can even make him smile while feeling his absolute worst. We have gone to Dr. Vaughn while she was out of office and absolutely love him as well. I couldn’t recommend either of them enough.

Dr. Vaughan was our family pediatrician when I was a child & is now the pediatrician for my children. The visits are always pleasant & it's never a chore to get my oldest child to go to an appointment. His nurses Candice & Mary Kay are always so sweet & welcoming. The front office staff is very welcoming too. When Dr. Vaughan is out of office, the other doctors are just as great. We highly recommend Portico Pediatrics to our family & friends when they are searching for a pediatrician for their little ones.

The employees in the front desk are terrible people. Bad service. They need to do something about it. Need some serious training on treating customers or terminate the bad employees. My wife was treated terribly. She was only picking up my son's records (they couldnt email it to me said scanner was down) and no one would help her. The lady that finally did help her gave my wife an attitude. They are also rude on the phone.

We always have a great experience when visiting this clinic. We are treated in a timely manner and do not feel rushed through the visit. Teams always take time with us to make sure all questions are answered. Very comforting. Even if our doctor is out, we receive the same level of care from all the providers and clinical teams. The lab team is exceptional and make the process as easy as possible for my child.
