PM Pediatric Urgent Care

I appreciated the friendliness of the nursing and doctor staff. They were very friendly, thorough, explanatory, and even better with my child making her smile and laugh. The place is clean and bright. They are still masked despite society drifting away from wearing a mask and the front desk had plexiglass. I appreciated this during our visit. The front desk staff was a little depressing but got the job done. Thankfully, that didn't and doesn't reflect the tone for the visit we had. God forbid we need to come here again, I'd definitely will return to this one in Laurel off rte 1 in the plaza right before Giant.

Excellent rapid response at the Laurel, MD location. They accept walk-ins but I was able to book an online appointment on a Sunday that was less than an hour out (giving him time to wash up, get dressed, eat breakfast, etc.) plus my son and I arrived and departed within under an hour. Dr. Jhingoeri thoroughly assessed him, was able to narrow down the primary issue, the team performed specific diagnostic testing, and his prescription was filled and ready for pick up at the pharmacy in less than two hours after he was seen. I would give them 6/5 stars if it were allowable!

Our experience was mixed at best. My daughter needed stitches and the doctor that stitched her up was amazing! Took her time, explained every step to her, engaged her in conversation. However, the doctor (a different one) who removed her stitches did not engage, pulled on the stitches so the removal hurt and she even started bleeding. Zero empathy or care. I weigh I had taken them out at home…I could have done better!

The doctor had great energy. But my baby had a fever for 4 days. She literally did nothing but listen to her breathing and gave her a nebulizer. Only good thing about the appt. She said we are usually worried after 3 days of fever. I had to remind her it’s been 4. She said well…if she has the flu we wait 5. An extra day. Never tested her for the flu or anything. Said she had ear pressure and swelling but not “enough” to where she wanted to diagnose it. Mentioned to her my baby was complaining about her ear and her hearing. Nebulizer didn’t help the cough or the mucus. So pretty much nothing was handled. My baby was not feeling good at all. Went to another doctor same night bc I didn’t feel heard, no treatment, and my baby didn’t feel well.. Flu and ear infection was diagnosed. Medicine was

I’ve taken my little ones here several times, and each visit has been a great experience. We’ve always received caring, personalized attention and never felt rushed or unheard. We’re usually in and out within an hour, which is such a relief with kids. The entire staff, from the front desk to the doctor, is wonderful, personable, and genuinely caring.
